We started Richards Building Supply in 1978 when Richard Guzior partnered with Richard Sawilchik after Richard's previous employer was forced to sell. Richard had worked his way up from shipping at a Chicago roofing and siding distributor, learning the business from the ground up. In 1986, Richard bought out his partner and we've been family-owned ever since.
